Eco ToolsHey Pals it's Andi, I recently realized that I haven't done a blog post on a brand in a while and although I changed my blog from being brand review I've decided that I should still do some every so often and today is one of those days! So get excited because today I'm going to be talking about Eco Tools makeup brushes. Eco Tools sells super soft brushed but they are all natural and organic. They sell any brush that you may need, they sell makeup brushes and hair brushes and they even sell face cleansing sponges and lufas and even fake eyelashes. You can buy their makeup brushes as individuals and in sets. These brushes are really great and you can get them online or at ulta. Enjoy! Until Next Time Pals! WerkHey Pals it's Andi!
Recently I've really gotten into rap music and pump up music for when I work out, do my homework, or just need to have a dance party, in my room, alone, aka I just have a lot of energy and I really need to get it out. FYI be careful when you're having a dance party because last year my friend fractured her foot having a dance party. So I'll link my playlist down below. I love it so much it just gets me really pumped and ready for life and exercise! Until Next Time Pals! Hand SaitizerHey Pals it's Andi,
I know sometimes it's a struggle to find a hand sanitizer that doesn't smell to perfumey(like bath and body works pocket backs) or one that's just gross and smells to chemically. Well I found a recipe for a DIY hand sanitizer and you can add however much essential oils that you want.
Good luck making this DIY hand sanitizer! Until Next Time Pals! FOOD!Hey Pals it's Andi, Recently I've been really into cooking healthy foods for my parents for dinner and I've been trying out new recipes. I'm using pintrest to find all of my recipes and snack ideas. Below i will list a few of my favorite snacks and dinners. Enjoy! Ants on a logFor this snack I smothered an apple in peanut butter and put 3 craisins on it. It is almost exactly like ants on a log that someone would normally make but I don't like celery and I prefer craisins to raisins. Avacado PastaFor this recipe you put the following ingredients in a food processor to make a sauce 2 avacados 1/3 cup of olive oil 1/2 cup of fresh basil 2 cloves of garlic 2 tbsp of Lemon Juice Then you mix it in with 12oz of cooked spagetti Chicken Avacado pitasThis recipe is super simple! Just take the pit out of some ripe avocados and smash them up in a bowl to make a a chunky dip type of a thing then put some of it into a pita with some chicken, cheese and really any other toppings that you might want.
Until Next Time Pals! Infused WaterHey Pals it's Andi, You guys might have noticed that we didn't post for an entire week last week and I don't think we ever explained that to you but it's because we were on spring break. For spring break I went to Arizona to this really nice spa place called Enchantment. It was really nice and it is definitely the best hotel I've ever been to(we could only go to a place that nice because we got airfare for free with frequent flyer miles so just a warning it's super expensive but there were so many things that were included I think it's worth it if you have the money!). But I'm not here to tell you about my amazing vacation, butI may end up doing a post on the spa because all of their products were natural. Anyways I'm here to tell you about a discovery I made while I was there! In the women's locker room they had big pitchers of (free) drinks, the 2 drinks were lemon cucumber water and Sedona iced tea. Being that I don't like tea I wanted to try the water, so I did. And it was AMAZING! I loved it so much I currently have a pitcher of infused water in my fridge at home. I love the idea of this because you can customize it to any flavor that you want. You can put strawberries in it, citrus fruits, basil, cucumber, rasberries, blackberries, pineapple, watermelon really anything! I am now obsessed with my lemon cucumber water and I'm really excited to try new flavors! Until Next Time Pals! They provide a large selection of colors and they are pretty easy to find. They are each $9 of a regular nail polish. Natural Eye MakeupHey Pals it's Andi, Today I found a really cool eye makeup look and it's really natural and cool and so I decided that it would be a good thing to post with the "relaunching" of my blog(giving it a new name). So, now in honor of my random new blog posts, here's a really cool natural eye makeup look! Until next time Pals!
WHat's in MY Natural MAkeup BagHey Pals it's Andi, As you guys can see I've changed the title of my blog posts to random things with Andi because sometimes I just don't feel like looking up a new brand and reviewing it for you guys and sometimes I just want to give you guys something new and different. First Aid BeautyHey Pals it's Andi, Today I'm going to be talking about first aid beauty. You can find this brand at sephora and on their own website. I've heard a lot of hype around this brand, and I've tried a few of their products. On occasion I'll watch beauty videos on youtube and a lot of people really liked their face cleanser, so I tried it. It wasn't my favorite but if all you need is a simple cleanser to use everyday then this would be a good one to try out. A lot of people also really like the deep cleanser with red clay, but I don't have a lot of acne or horrible skin so I didn't try it but if you need one I would check it out. I also heard great things about the ultra repair cream intense hydration. The other product of theirs that I tried is the ultra repair lip therapy. I tried it quite a while ago but I used it all up. From what I remember it's quite thick but it's in a squeeze tube so it's really easy to use and you don't have to stick your fingers in a pot and it's not as unsanitary. They've got a bunch of different types of products so if cleansers or lip balms aren't you're thing or you have one of those things that you already really like and you want to try a different type of products I think that any product from this line or brand would be good. They also provide a bunch of different options for sizes so if you can't afford the $20 face cleanser than you can get the $10 or the $5, but those prices are smaller, the $20 is 5oz and the $10 is 2oz and the $5 is 1 oz. But they only do that or their face cleanser, lip balm, face radiance pads, oatmeal mask, lotion, anti-redness serum, and their body wash. All and all I think that this brand is a really good and no matter what you try. Until next time Pals! LA VanillaHey Pals it's Andi,
I'm going to be trying to make my blog posts a little different, I'm going to try to talk more about the quality of the products and the reliability of the brand instead of the amount of color choices because I know I talk about that a lot and it's not the most important thing when you're looking to see weather or not you want to buy from a brand. Today I'm going to be talking about the brand LaVanilla. LaVanilla is sold at Sephora and the LaVanilla website. At Sephora they sell their deodorant, perfume, face sunscreen, and body butter. The product that they have that I've heard of most. On the Sephora website they explain it as "Finally, a natural deodorant that works. Get superior odor protection with this 100 percent natural, freshly scented deodorant. Soothing essential oils blend with beta-glucan technology fight odor effectively while soothing, conditioning, and nourishing the delicate underarm area. It goes on clean, with no sticky wetness, and delivers long-lasting, luxurious results. ". The deodorant has no parabons, aluminum, or mineral oil. It's clinically tested, dermatologist, non irritating, and allergy tested. It's a really good everyday deodorant but I heard that if you're going to go to the gym use a deodorant with more protection. Most of the products come in all of the same scents that have some variation of vanilla in them, like vanilla, vanilla grapefruit, vanilla coconut, ect. This brand seems really good but the deodorant is a little on the pricey side. It's $14 but if you have the money for it then go for it. The perfumes smell really good and if you have the money for a $20 rollerball perfume, or a $58 full sized perfume then go for it. Overall I think if you need a new natural deodorant or you just want to try something new, I think that you should definitely try this brand out. Until next time Pals! Hey Pals its Andi,
I know I haven't done a brand review in a while, and my want to do a DIY last post got me thinking about how I should let you guys know how I determine weather or not a brand is worth tying out so that you can do it with a random brand that you find. So you might think that diversity in shades and the brand having an abundance of color is something that I base that off of but it really isn't. I only talk about that in my blog posts so if someone who tends to struggle to find a color that suits them knows that they have a better chance with that brand. If I find a brand that i want to see is worthy of telling you guys about I will go on youtube and search the brand or a product to see if people post about it and if they like it and I will also google image them to make sure that they look good or I try to find swatches and see if they are patchy. That's really it. It doesn't tak much to see if a brand is good. Until next time Pals! DIY Green Tea Body ScrubHey Pals it's Andi, I know I normally do brand reviews and give you guys new brands to try or not to try but today I just wasn't felling it. So I took to pintrest and i found a DIY green tea scrub. If you really like this type of post then I recommend you go to Kristis blog because she posts DIYs all the time.
If you haven’t realized already coconut oil and green tea – (tea or powder form) have amazing benefits and a lot of these natural diy beauty recipes normally contain one of these products so I would strongly recommend putting these on your shopping list if you haven’t done so already. Until next time Pals!
KorresHey Pals it's Andi,
Today I had a "you learn something new every day" moment. I was looking at natural brands on Sephora and I found out that Korres is an all natural brands. Korres sells skin care and body products, they don't sell makeup but I figured that it would be good to review some natural skin care products because some people want to have natural skin care and beauty. I'm going to be honest with you guys, they don't sell a very large amount of product types, but they do have quite a few types of each products. They have 2 sleeping facials, 8 moisturizers, 3 serums, 4 eye treatments, 5 cleansers, a toner, a scrub, and a primer. That's not really a lot. Although they also have some body products and a lip butter at Sephora they don't provide as big a range of products as some of the other brands. But, looking at it in a positive way, there aren't many skin care products that they are missing. The only other products that they could sell are oils face peels, and body exfoliants. But overall they provide a decent sollection of products. Although they don't have everything and they are a bit on the pricey side, they have really high quality items! Untiil next time Pals! TartletteHey Pals it's Andi here, Today I'm going to be talking about a brand that you might know if you are really into expensive makeup brands or you watch a lot of beauty you-tubers. Today I'm talking about Tarte Cosmetics. All Tarte products are created without parabons, mineral oil, pthalate, triclosan, sodium lauyrl, or gluten. Tarte is also vegan and cruelty free. They semi-recently just came out with a new limited edition collection called tartlette to celebrate "15 years of empowering women" which I assume means that they've been in business for 15 years. Tartes products are very well known, I've known about them even before I had this blog and got into natural makeup. They have a large range of product types and colors. They have 25 shades of foundation, 7 shades of tinted moisturizer, 13 shades of concealer, 17 shades of blush, 10 shades of lipstick, and 10 shades of lipgloss. Tart has a lot of shades of the things that they're good at like their blushes and face products. Their eyeshadow pallets look beautiful, I really like their tartlette pallet and I really want it but I already have enough eyeshadow that I don't use... I've heard amazing things about Tartes blushes and they come in so many shades. Here are some swatches of the different products. blush in LushHey Pals It's Andi here, Today I'm going to be reviewing the brand Lush. Lush is a very well known brand and a lot of people love it. Lush is an amazing brand, they don't test on animals, they are 100% vegetarian, everything is handmade, and they do something called ethical buying where they buy from people mostly in their local community that care about their product and they try to buy from smaller scale producers. They also supply vegan products, and they aren't stingy with them, they provide quite a lot of vegan products almost every type of product that they sell comes with some vegan options. Lush also provides very unique things that you can't find in other brands. One example would be that you can have private parties in the lush store, they provide 2 options, one where you get private consultation, learning about the products and their ingredients, and $30 in store credit, the other option provides a lesson in making a bath bomb, a $25 valued gift bag, and games. Not many other places provide such a cool service. Another unique experience that they provide at Lush is a product called Fun. Fun is a blob of mold-able soap. they come in 5 different colors and scents. Fun is vegan and I think it's an amazing idea. If you're throwing a birthday party you can buy a bunch of them and have all of your party guests mold whatever they want with the soap and then they can take it home as a party favor. I know you're probably surprised I haven't talked about their wide range of product because I talk about that in all of my reviews. Lush has the widest amount of products out of any brand I've ever reviewed. They literally have everything you w could ever need, literally. Skin care? Check. Makeup? Check. Bath stuff? Check. Shower stuff? Check. Hair? Check. Perfume? Check. Teeth? Check. Men? Check. Deodorant? Check. Anything I could ever want? Check. And they provide all other their things in different forms and scents. Overall I think that Lush is an amazing brand and you should really give it a try! Below I have provided A few links to get to know more about lush as well as a lush haul! Until Next Time Pals!
Bite BEauty
I cannot find a website from Bite where they sell their products but I did find their blog which I will have a button with the link at the end of this post. But they are sold at Sephora and on Amazon. Bite sells a very large variety of product types and colors from the nudest nude to the darkest purple. Bite sells lipsticks of different finishes, lipgloss, lip pencils, lip crayons, lip masks, lip tints, lip primers, lip scrubs, lip wipes and even a lip brush. Many youtubers like bite beauty and it had great reviews!
Juice BeautyHey Pals it's Andi, Before I started this blog and got into organic and natural beauty brands I didn't know very many organic brands, but this is one of them. Juice beauty is a brand that is quite easy to get because it's available on more than one website and it's available in stores such as Ulta. Juice beauty was created because their creator was experiencing hormonal changes in her skin so she set out to find a healthy solution to skin care that actually showed results. So she decided to create her own line of skin care and other assorted beauty products. Juice Beauty provides a large collection of products. They have every single type of skin care anyone could need, for all ages and genders. They have a specific page for men, children, teens, just general things, and even brides. Their products are definitely not drug store, the cheapest facial cleanser is $22 which is definitely not cheap but it's not the most expensive face wash out there. Their makeup is also on the expensive side, but if you tend to but beauty products from Sephora, or the high end side of Ulta then you shouldn't have a problem with many of their prices. Their color options aren't the best when it comes to foundations and their complexion products. Their foundation only has a fair medium and dark shade, and it's the same with their finishing powder, their concealer only has 2 shades and their tinted moisturizer and CC cream only have about 4-5 shades which is okay but not as good as other brands that I've reviewed. All in all I think that if you are okay with spending a little extra on skin care or makeup this brand would be a great option especially because they have so many products that would fit anyone's skin type and skin needs. See you next time pals!
100% PureHey Pals it's Andi, Today I investigated the brand 100% Pure. This brand is all pure and they claim that it is free of all chemicals that are common in most beauty products because our skin absorbs things. Just as birth control patches and nicotine patches deliver medication into the skin, whatever we put on our skin is absorbed into our skin, which is why they make their products "100% Pure". They provide a wide variety of lines such as makeup, skincare, hair care, nails, baby and body care. Their makeup is dyed with all natural fruit pigments that have antioxidants that are good for the skin. Their makeup has a wide variety of shades for all of their products. They have 7 shades of their healthy skin mousse foundation, 7 shades of powder foundation, 5 shades of their concealer, 7 shades of tinted moisturizers, 13 shades of powder blush, 12 shades of lip gloss, 8 shades of lipstick, 16 shades of powder eye shadow, and even 4 shades of mascara, and not just natural black, black brown, brown, but colors such as purple and blue(swatches of some of the products below). They also sell a large variety of natural products that could be hard to find such as deodorant SPF, soap, toniques, moisturizer for both the face and body, and many more. They even sell every makeup product you could ever need, so if you are going all natural and are struggling to find a certain kind of product to fit your standard of naturalness, check 100% Pure, they probably have it. I think that this is a very good brand and I think that their products are an amazing thing to try out. My blog post on this even caused Adrianna to try the black tea mascara (read more about it on her blog). I think that these products are very worth the price! I hope you guys enjoy this brand! If you are interested in one of the pictures above, click on them and it will take you to the 100% pure website where you can purchase the item.
See you next time pals! Vegan Beauty BoxHey Pals It's Andi, Roaming around the internet looking for the next big thing in organic beauty I came across this brand. It's the brand Vegan Cuts and they do a variety of things such as a snack box, a blog, and a shop where you can buy a variety of vegan things, but the thing that I'm here to talk to you about today is their vegan beauty box. Each month for the price of $19.95 you can get 4-7 trial sized products that are all vegan and cruelty free. The products range from "unique cosmetics to unique skincare". They provide free shipping in the U.S, 100% cruelty free, mostly organic and natural, a mix of full sized and sample sized products, and you can cancel at anytime! This seems like an amazing thing if you are trying to go more natural with your makeup and skincare but you don't know any good brands or products. But this service is very expensive, especially compared to similar things like it such as ipsy and Birch box which are both $10 a month instead of practically $20. After looking at a bunch of YouTube videos and pictures from the Vegan Cuts website they provide a large variety of product types from a bunch of different brands. I'm still on the fence about weather or not it's worth the $20 but I think that the worth depends on the box and weather or not you are serious about trying new organic products. The good thing is, if you find out that you don't think it's worth it you can cancel at any time. Click the button below to go to the Vegan Cut's Website! Below I have provided un-boxing's and reviews of the Vegan Cuts beauty box. Here's the Vegan Cuts YouTube channel giving you a sneak peak at what's going to be in the February 2015 box. Here is a YouTuber that is un-boxing her beauty box and giving her opinion. Here's a quick video showing each product in the February 2015 Vegan Box. See you next time pals!
